Well, we thought we had it right when, after only one show we were once again looking for a Bass player as Dale departed the band. We got lucky when we found Gerry Rivera right away, or at least we thought so, but then after only one show with him the beginning of the end seemed to happen. The rough economic times of late 2008 started taking its toll when job requirements forced long time guitarist Mike Blemenschutz to move to South Carolina. With Mike's departure and the seemingly endless searches for new band members we started drifting. ToniLynne found a new band to front and in early December announced she would be leaving ReZist, shortly after that Dean did the same. Sometime over the Christmas holidays it was decided that ReZist would go on sabbatical. With the start of 2009 Gerry returned to his old band and Dave, Vito and Terry decided it was time for ReZist to take a break. They went on to individual projects but still hold this one dear to their hearts, so check back often to see if the saga continues. In the mean time, THANKS for all your support. Keep Rockin' |
