And now, as Paul Harvey would say, "The Rest of the Story". Things don't always work the way we plan or want, but they do always seem to change. In early December Smitty and Rob had sat in with another band called "Livid" who had just lost their bass player and guitarist, and with gigs already scheduled they were in dire straits. They were able to replace their bass player eventually, but had trouble finding a guitarist that fit in with the rest of the band, so Smitty continued to help them out. Well, as it turned out we were the ones who were once again looking for a guitarist and in March 2007 we bid Smitty well and started the search for a new lead guitarist. As it turns out we didn't have to look far because, as we quickly found out, Mike could shred as well as Smitty. Then Dan, who Dave knew from his days in "Riff Raff", came along to help handle the rhythm duties as well as some leads. In April we learned that Tom had some "scheduling" conflicts and would no longer be able to perform with us so as we said good bye to Tom, and we welcomed Dan as a permanent member. Now all we need is a drummer. We were fortunate to find Dennis but he had some previous commitments and would not be able to join us until early June. We had some gigs booked for May and needed some help quick, and so, Donny from "Riff Raff" and Misty's brother-in-law Terry were willing to help save us. We managed to hobble through most of May and with a little luck and a change of schedules Dennis was able to become an official member of ReZist on May 21, 2007. Once again ReZist was ready to rock....... and rock we did - at our first gig as the new reformed ReZist - during a private party in Keystone Heights on June 9, 2007. But as anyone who lives in Florida knows the end of summer brings on hurricane season and the ill winds blew hard on September 1, 2007. After one of our best nights ever at OverTime Sports bar on the Westside, our drummer Dennis, announced he was going on to fulfill a lifelong dream of playing full time. So we wished him well and the search was on...once again...ReZist needed a drummer. After what seemed like an agonizingly long time, that turned out to be only a few short weeks as the auditions progressed in a staccato fashion, we were able to locate another good fit for the personalities and talent that make up ReZist. On October 5, 2007 we welcomed Mark Majeski as the newest member and it looks like once again we are a band you just can't (ahem)...
Wait, wait.... there is still more.... (Page 3)
